Seniors Digital Literacy Program

Seniors Digital Literacy Program

September 22, 2022

With technology becoming a part of our everyday lives, The Seniors Digital Literacy Program (DLP) aims to assist the elderly demographic in developing basic computer skills essential for independent living. The knowledge gained throughout the program can be directly applied towards performing everyday tasks like communicating with their loved ones or finding directions to a nearby place.

The program boosts their confidence in using personal devices by starting from the fundamental digital skills including typing and mousing abilities. Learners also gain knowledge of managing a device and navigating the internet. Interactive applications are used to assist seniors in developing the required skills. The practical application of the knowledge gained is highlighted specific to the needs of our seniors.
