Diversity in the workplace means the acceptance and inclusion of employees of all backgrounds, accepting of every individual's differences and enabling all employees to achieve their full potential.

Workplace diversity is important because diversity widens viewpoints allowing more perspectives to be integrated when problem solving and developing new ideas in business. Diversity in the workplace will also increase employee morale and instill a desire to be more effective and work more efficiently.
Participants will learn to : Identify their own biases related to diversity and inclusion, understand and be able to articulate the difference between diversity and inclusion, understand and create a plan to adopt and incorporate diversity and inclusion in the workplace, identify situations in which further discussion and planning needs to take place in their own workplaces related to diversity and inclusion and how to contribute to a positive workspace once the training has been completed.
